Our lightweight aluminium waler systems are designed to provide 2 way support to small trenches when used in conjunction with trench sheets.
This aluminium waler system is available to hire with a range of sizes to choose from depending on your trench width and load requirements.
This lightweight aluminium waler system is ideal for use when installing or working around utilities/services where trench boxes are not suitable and where quick and easy installation is required.
The system is available in a range of waler lengths from 1.5m to 5m which are connected with our hydraulic struts. These struts are pressurised using our manually operated hydraulic hand pump, allowing the system to quickly and easily adjust to your trench width.
The system is quick and easy to assemble, install and extract from outside the trench and can be used to support trench widths from 657mm to 4317mm.
In deeper excavations, where more than one waler set will be used, our waler rails feature connection points to allow the attachment of restraining chains from one waler rail to another.
Where it is not possible to safely batter back the ends of your trench, our End Units can be used on conjunction with the waler system to provide support to trench ends.
