Drag Box

Our Drag Boxes allow rapid pipe laying in self supporting ground, our range includes drag boxes of various sizes to suit different excavation widths and depths, starting with a 3m x 2m mini drag box.

All of our drag boxes are available to hire.

Features

Available in 6 sizes - ranging from lightweight to heavy duty
Telescopic struts - allows for trench widths of 0.68m to 5.3m
Extensions available - increasing the maximum trench depth to 4.9m
Hogback struts available - for increased clearance to 2m, enabling the installation of 1.5m diameter pipes

Our Drag Boxes

Our drag boxes are designed with a two-sided protective shield, making them the perfect solution when installing utility pipes in dry, self-supporting ground, this is ideal in areas where obstructions such as underground services are present.

With a front cutting edge which enables the 'excavate and drag' technique, our drag boxes provide safe and rapid means of pipe laying, enabling quicker installation. All of our drag boxes are easy to assemble and install on site, constructed with minimal components.

Drag box hire

Hire drag boxes directly Groundworks Support & Equipment from our range, with a variety of sizes available to suit your excavation requirements. Our hire range includes lightweight to heavy duty options, as well as a high clearance drag box.
