Our Steel Road Plates 

Steel road plates keep your workers and site much safer - allowing personnel to carry out work safely with easy access over temporary excavations, site obstacles and other potential hazards. Anti-skid surfacing is also available and provides an additional level of safety.

We offer a range of sizes and depths (17-22cm) and all our Road plates are ideal for long-term or permanent use whether you’re working on a small or large groundworks project.

Easy Installation

Installing our steel roadplates is quick and easy, with holes cut into all four corners for simple installation by crane. The roadplate is chained when installing and removing which is safer than lifting by hand particularly across larger excavations.

Universal Plate Lifting Tool

We also offer our road plates with the new universal plate lifting tool. This new plates include an integrated lifting socket welded into the centre of plate enabling them to be lifted and handled using a single leg chain. This option is available for 4ft x 8ft steel road plates for hire.
