An extremely lightweight, modular shoring solution, which can be used to construct 2, 3 or 4-sided trench supports.

Features

Lightweight - individual components weigh up to 18kg
Flexible - one set of components can create many different 2, 3 or 4-sided box configurations
Quick & Easy to construct - small, lightweight components are easy to handle and install

Our MAP Box

Our Modular Aluminium Panel (MAP) Box is lightweight, flexible and quick & easy to install, making it ideal for shallow shoring applications in self-supporting ground.

Its modular nature means the components are able to form a range of box sizes, from a 1.3m x 0.6m 2-sided trench box, to a 2.5m x 2.5m 4-sided manhole box.

The individual components weigh between 6 and 18kg so are easy to transport, handle on site and assemble. A fully assembled box therefore weight from as little as 135kg so only limited lifting equipment is needed on site.

The modular nature of the MAP box means that not only can one set of components create a 2, 3 or 4-sided box, but panels can also be omitted from any of the sides, in order to allow services through.

The ability to omit panels and the flexible positioning of its telescopic struts makes this product ideal for the utilities market as it allows you to choose between supporting a higher load capacity or achieving a greater under strut clearance, allowing for large diameter pipes.

The extremely lightweight components that create the MAP box make these boxes easy to assemble. The 300mm panels are easy to handle and feature a finger grip design to help protect against trapped fingers. For further on-site safety, our edge protection systems are also compatible with the MAP Box
