Mabey Hire showcased the industry's first LIVEBIM at Ground Engineering's Instrumentation & Monitoring Conference.
In its 8th year, the event is the number one UK gathering for professionals involved in monitoring as part of construction and asset management.
It provided the perfect forum for us to demonstrate the Insite web portal, which provides real-time data to engineers, to give early indication of issues and enable rapid response.
LIVEBIM is set to form the newest part of the web portal, and we’re excited to show clients, Tier 1 contractors, designers and innovators what it’s made of.
LIVEBIM will see 3D models of buildings, rail, roads and bridges connected with real-time sensors, creating digital graphics which will change shape and colour as problems arise in specific areas. With dedicated engineering support, customers will be able to click into sensor readings on the live visualisation of a structure, making it far easier to access and understand information than on spreadsheets and graphs.
The team were at the Instrumentation & Monitoring conference showcasing how advanced monitoring capabilities can help customers make better and faster decisions, improve safety and reduce costs.
