First introduced to the industry earlier this year as a means of providing our customers with instant access to hundreds of pre-engineered groundworks designs, we have now added even more standard solutions to our intelligent MyConstruct portal.
Our team of engineers used their knowledge and expertise to create a bank of project designs for low-risk groundworks schemes. While the system’s original 500 standard solutions featured trench sheets and bracing frames for 4-sided excavations, the 150 new designs are for our trench and manhole boxes. Further widening the solutions on offer, the MyConstruct portal now incorporates pre-engineered designs for all examples of simple groundworks schemes.
Designed to help drastically reduce the turnaround time from enquiry to delivery of the equipment to site for low-risk excavations, the MyConstruct portal is available to customers via our website. With project designs available for instant download, it is ideal for use both at the tender stage of a project or for reactive works. Every scheme design has been created as a Standard Solution, as defined in BS 5975:2019 section 13:10.
Upon visiting the MyConstruct portal, customers will be prompted to answer a series of straightforward questions about their project, such as the ground conditions, proposed dig methodology and the excavation depth. If the project is suitable for a pre-engineered solution, the customer will then be automatically provided with a groundworks scheme design best suited to their individual project, which they can instantly download or have delivered to their email. Once they are ready to progress with their project, the required equipment can be easily ordered via their local depot, by quoting the design reference number.
